Does Loadsmart work with new MC authorities?
Loadsmart hasn't published an authority-age rule we could verify. Ask its carrier team before you apply, and if you do apply, tell us the result so the next carrier knows.
What insurance does Loadsmart require?
$1M auto liability and $100K cargo. The federal minimum for general freight is $750K, so many carriers need to raise their limit before applying.
Will Loadsmart accept a Conditional safety rating?
No. Loadsmart accepts Satisfactory or Unrated carriers. Most small carriers are Unrated, which is not the same as Conditional.
How do I set up with Loadsmart?
Loadsmart onboards carriers through RMIS. Have your W-9, certificate of insurance, authority details and (if you factor) your notice of assignment ready.
