Coyote Logistics is now part of RXO (coyote.com redirects to rxo.com). C.H. Robinson agreed to acquire RXO on Oct 5, 2026 (expected close H1 2027), so RXO's rules may move toward C.H. Robinson's stricter ones.

Questions carriers ask
Does RXO work with new MC authorities?
RXO doesn't publish a minimum authority age, so a new authority can apply as soon as it's active and meets the insurance and safety rules below.
What insurance does RXO require?
$1M auto liability and $100K cargo. The federal minimum for general freight is $750K, so many carriers need to raise their limit before applying.
Will RXO accept a Conditional safety rating?
No. RXO accepts Satisfactory or Unrated carriers. Most small carriers are Unrated, which is not the same as Conditional.
How do I set up with RXO?
RXO onboards carriers through RMIS. Have your W-9, certificate of insurance, authority details and (if you factor) your notice of assignment ready.
